Die "DenkStätte" Weiße Rose am Lichthof der Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität (LMU) in München ist ein zentraler Erinnerungsort zur Geschichte des studentischen Widerstands der Weißen Rose. Die Weiße Rose Stiftung e.V. richtete sie in Kooperation mit der Universität ein; Bundespräsident Roman Herzog eröffnete den Ausstellungsraum am 28. Juni 1997.

The famous 'trough of disillusionment'?
Gartner Hype Cycles provide a graphic representation of the maturity and adoption of technologies and applications. Each Hype Cycle drills down into the five key phases of a technology’s life: there’s an “innovation trigger,” a quick rapid increase in expectations, followed by a “peak of inflated expectations” and a fall back into what’s called a “trough of disillusionment.” After that there is a redemptive “slope of enlightenment” and an eventual “plateau of productivity.”

Climate #adaptation doesn't have to be complicated. Simple nature-based solutions like planting trees can effectively reduce urban heat stress. Here is an example.

MAGA is already bringing the political spin. If the Republican leadership and media ecosystem adopt the narrative of their supporters, it is not going to be pretty. In the end, it didn't matter who set the Reichstag ablaze. All that mattered, in the end, is that it burned.

Vielen Dank für die interessante Diskussion. Es wird ja erwähnt, dass es wohl keinen F-35 "Killswitch" gibt. Wie ordnen sie dann diesen Bericht aus der Times (20.03) ein?
