Train Junkie
Repaired again he worked until 1935 when she blew up again claiming another crew. Rebuild again he worked up and down the TRKR until 1955 all the while fear and despised by the crews.

The 605 however never looked the same for the roundhouse crew didn't repaint the white back on it leaving it in all black aside from it's numbers. He was involved in a runaway later that fall that killed another crew.

The 605 was rebuild with a new boiler and the 26 was rebuild with new smokebox and both were put back in service.
July 12, 2025 at 6:27 AM
The wreck was worsened by the 605's boiler exploding. The front of 26 was mangled and the coaches where damaged and freight cars where derailed or smashed. 605's crew and 26's engineer where killed out right while 26's fireman was injured, thankfully no passengers were killed.

At 11:28 AM, 605 and his crew rolled out onto the mainline but would only make it half a mile before disaster struck. They met the local passenger train being hauled by TRKR 26 at Fiddler's Cut, both trains had a combined speed of 50 MPH (or 80.4672 KPH).

On that Tuesday 605 had been called out on a road freight over the TRKR from Keelson, TN to Riverdale, TN.

Ah BGKRR 605, the runt of the Ks-6 class. 605 was built by ALCO Richmond Works in 1912 to a similar design of the Southern Railway K class.

This is 4 Grant looks modern day. He was built in Dec. of 1876 by HK Porter. I'm surprised I haven't talked about him here yet, but he's a old favorite of mine. I'll be talking about his history as time goes by.

Some of my Road's early locomotives. The numbering system is a little strange, but it make sense to me. Here we have on the back line 4, 6, 105, 109, & 107, on the front we have 5, 10, 106, & 108. They all have names and if anyone was to see them I'll post them.

Here is a close up of Braden & Jordan. In the lore my friends & I have FEC 98 "Jordan" goes to USSC after the FEC and follows FEC 148's life up to the 80s. Then in the 90s he goes to TVRM and now is the run mates to Braden, Gavin (4501) & Nolan (610).

Always something kind of fun happening on the Digital High Iron. The characters here are Southern 630 "Braden", then on back down the line in the back is FEC 98 "Jordan" (A friend's oc) and then on the right track is my friend @kd2868.bsky.social with her mail train.

I do enjoy make the early days fleet, they are simple but not boring to me. Enjoy the 1890s-1900s Branch Line local passenger trains set up.
