After a lot of trial and error, I finally managed to add working entity placement. The workbench is functional and has proper collision. Now it's time to add item crafting.

I added the ability to place a workbench in the game world. While player collision works fine and you can push it around, environment collision is totally broken. It just clips right into trees, rocks, and other workbenches... I’ll fix it tomorrow... I’m out of energy for today.😩

Returned to my Python Minicraft port. I spent the week rewriting the item-usage code from scratch, enabling easier content additions. Also added tile placement (great for filling holes with dirt) and made visual changes to match the original game. #gamedev #Python
