New acquisition at MUŻA - A spectacular drawing by Paulus Pontius and Peter Paul Rubens! It's after an altarpiece by Rubens and is preparatory for an engraving by Pontius. The drawing has clearly visible incised lines made when transferring the design to the copperplate.

New acquisition at MUŻA - A spectacular drawing by Paulus Pontius and Peter Paul Rubens! It's after an altarpiece by Rubens and is preparatory for an engraving by Pontius. The drawing has clearly visible incised lines made when transferring the design to the copperplate.
