Hubby is away this weekend. I put up my indoor Halloween decorations, and spent some quality time with the (adult) kids earlier. Now it’s wine, lights, and my kindle. One of my kitties was snuggled with me earlier, but she’s buggered off somewhere now lol #MeTime 🍷📖

You know you’re perimenopausal when you don’t put the “winter” comforter you, you just keep the late fall double blankets… also, the ceiling fan is on (though I switched the rotation to up for the winter months lol). 🥵 #IgnoreMyUglyWalls

I haven’t wrapped wire in so long, and damn my arthritic thumb isn’t happy… but I’m okay with his these turned out. That’s what was wanted. Simple wraps for stones found in Nova Scotia by a friend’s youngest daughter to give to her big sisters for Christmas 🎄 ❤️

There aren’t many for me this year, and this just happened. I spent the day with my BFF, and we and her hubs went out for dinner. While I was in pain due to arthritis and my shitty knees, I was happy.

Our new fridge arrived today. We have to wait for Monday for the water and ice as we need the line installed, but it’s still so cool!

I spent the weekend (with help of hubby and oldest son moving a couple of desks) rearranging my home office. I’m all set up for work at 7am tomorrow, and ready for the pull out love-seat to be delivered on Friday.

I’ve been back from this gorgeous place for 2 weeks now. I miss the ocean. I miss the warmth. I miss the premium pool with bartender Juan, and Cappuccino leading aquafit at noon.
