How many more natural disasters do we need to experience and pay out for before we actually take seriously the fact that the people who are victimised the most by climate change are the same rockapes who keep voting in the very parties who insist on policy that hurts them the most?

Never forget what a disaster Keys asset sales of our power companies has been.

Record high energy prices, and stagnant critical infrastructure upgrades, and barely any new generation from those companies since they were sold.

Hell no.

Tepid tinkering and centrism all in order to minimise attacks from the right, meanwhile they are attacking them anyway for their tax policy.

Labour just need to have a bit of a spine and actually stand for something.

Very Andrew Cuomo-esque, saying that he shouldn't have resigned despite being a piece of ****.

This is where RWers are these days. No accountability, no shame.

And yet Trump still gets to take credit for this "ceasefire", and the media still plays defence for the Israel Occupying Force.

The whole economy is reliant on house prices rising without fail. I don't see how this is a gotcha.

Because Labour are centrist neo-libs and always need to water down good policies to keep people (who never planned to and never will vote for them) happy.

They won't be happy regardless of what they do, so they might as well have actually released a policy with some teeth.

If people like Lee Vandervis who is once again campaigning to go back to FPP don't like how STV works, they need to stop appealing to the dumbest voters who don't understand how this system works.

To vote STV, you rank the LEAST likely candidate #1, and the MOST likely candidate last.

Hipkins said on BHN last night that the current regulations "were introduced for good reason because buildings literally collapsed ... but some of them did go a bit too far."

I can't see how any of the changes are reasonable. Auckland is literally on a fault line. Why is it exempt?

The Venn diagram of those complaining about the speed bumps and those who would complain about noise from people speeding down their road is a circle.

Like seriously, this sort of shit fucks me off. We are facing huge rates increases BECAUSE of National and their anti-Three Waters campaign.

And their solution to fucking things up is to just fuck things up more.

We are governed by morons.
