Happy blender-versary! You put together some amazing projects!! I especially love the Kuromi donut! 😊

Also I re-read this, yeah I suppose I could test a render at way lower quality, know what’s going to happen before cranking it up for final render😊

Also I appreciate you giving me pointers! 😊

Just for clarification I know I said liquids when baking and you were talking about textures and light, which is a smart idea, still just unsure about the hard drive space aspect

Baking I have looked at but I’ve heard it chews up a lot of hard drive space, so not sure I’ll jump into liquids yet I’ve got less than 100 fb free 😅 it would be handy not to have to rerender and have it take that long each time, I’ll try to use that for sure at some point

Haha I get it, glass does chew up a lot but I’m not too worried and honestly at this resolution I was achieving 2mins and 20 seconds per frame rendered on my computer, I just had 400 of them to render at 60 fps

I like to see what I can get away with 😂

Also I very much appreciate the feedback! :)

Thank you! I agree there’s way too fast of movement makes it a bit hard to look at, I shoulda realized not to move it that far for that short of time 😂 but learn and move forward haha!

Actually it didn’t move the way I expected but it’s hard to see when my live render view is pretty slow, but I’m actually pretty happy with how it came out over all, just wish Bluesky didn’t kill the quality 😂

I appreciate the offer, so far I’m just messing about and following a bunch of random tutorials, this one seemed fun, I just threw a bunch of glassy textures and then decided to move them about lol, yeah I had it set way higher at first (79 days for that render) so decided to cut it way back hahaha

256 samples and 1024x920 resolution, but I’m also rendering it on an M1 Mac mini with 8GB of ram and not much of a gpu, maybe 8 cores

The quality is way better, didn’t realize Bluesky reduced it quite this badly, sorry for the extreme low res
