Today was my first time as a Saturday Almost-Librarian. I forgot the joys of Patrons coming in 5 minutes before closing asking us to print off dozens of tax forms.

As my first week back closes, I am excited to see patrons enjoying the library, reuniting with coworkers, and just being back at work.

Let’s see if I can actually be active here instead of lurking.

Tomorrow, I start my new library job at the same library I was working at before I resigned to focus on getting my MLIS. I am still finishing up that degree(3 months left) but this was an opportunity I didn’t want to miss.
