Probably a mental health safety mechanism for players. Full on copium for the soul to not have to think about how you've lost something that could have been great. (Though obviously less healthy for the developers who gave up years to not release a product)

Just heard about this. Sounds like almost everyone was let go and the game was pulled from app stores? Had a bunch of friends and colleagues that worked on Mythwalker. 😟

Looking forward to iteration on the node system. Right now there's a bit of a disconnect between being Noah and traversing the map, but I feel like there's a real opportunity here to make it feel like Noah navigating the city on his bike. Moving from one soul in need to the next.

And the build (less GPU) has been ordered.

I always build two at a time (one for me, one for the missus) so the sticker shock will probably last until the build is complete, but hopefully it'll be "the good kind of hurt" when it's all said and done.

Not the outcome we were hoping for but a respectable outcome for a game that was such a significant departure from your previous title. Looking forward to the release (or early access if you decide to go that route).

Brilliant work!
Also love how the editing here makes the dialogue feel intense yet natural. It doesn't follow the "line, delay, response, delay, response" conversations that inhabit many other RPGs.

Didn't know the word was tainted now, but I do remember staring blankly at a colleague as he explained the word to me for the first time howevermany years ago. Secretly disliked it ever since.

Just rolled credits last night. Seeing such a small, focused team succeed so spectacularly is as heartening as the game's subject matter is depressing!
