I HIGHLY. RECOMMEND. Grabbing a copy of the Graphic Artist's Guild Pricing book. It lays out some general rates to help get artists started and understand certain types of gigs. It also gives SAMPLE CONTRACTS in the back, like Illustrator Agreements etc, to send to clients that don't have their own.
