Working in Hospice, helping people with grief has been my dream for a long time. I woke from that dream today.
There are health issues that keep me where I am, diabetes being the major one. Working where I know I make a difference and can finish my work life with a grin helps too. No regrets.

Coming up on a landmark age and still so much to do, to learn, to experience both good and bad ... coming at Life with love, empathy and so much curiosity. Speaking of which, went to Edgar Allen Poe Speakeasy a couple weeks ago and had a lovely evening.

It'll take some time for me and my family to find the new "normal" because a lot has changed over the past ...good grief, seven years if you count the full journey from school to licensure.

My schools are closed until Thursday but we still have electricity so I'm working from home for the next couple days. Good thing because my street is a bit buried

So the patch is off, but I liked the look. Spent yesterday seeing the Dickens festival from the eyes of a 4 year old and it revolved around dragons, bubbles, and running. Lots of running just for the sheer joy of it. Missed most of the show but had a wonderful time.
