I gotta dig a hole tomorrow for a tree in the backyard and also hope to ignore my family for long enough to play a card game by myself. And then the Kiddo and I are going to make a skillet cookie for his grandpa’s birthday month Sunday evening dinner that’s being hosted by his aunt this week.

Just finished watching all the LOTR movies with the Kiddo. Too bad the worst one won Best Picture. What a year for twinks tho between this and Pirates of the Caribbean and all the Matrix stuff. Elijah Wood, Orlando Bloom, and Keanu Reeves walked so Tom Holland and Timmy Chalet could run

All the restaurants are posting horrific looking corned beef and cabbage. My father-in-law is making it for us tomorrow. All of these things are making me wish I’d started brining a brisket last weekend.

Did thanksgiving dinner today instead of Thursday. Roasted the legs and cooked the breast in the sous vide. Couldn’t have turned out better. Also had roasted squash, mashed taters, Brussels sprouts salad with dried cherries and smoked Gouda, and dressing. Good stuff.
