On November 27, 1974, my mother took my sister and I to our first concert. I was 12 years old. The son of her friend was in a band by the name of Carmen. They opened for ELO and Canned Heat. So my first concert was to see ELO & Canned Heat. By the way, that’s also when I got my first “contact high.”
