Love my family, bicycles, good food and where I live. Hate conservative politics and what it is doing to the world
I think the plan is to force people into rehab, which won't work, or let them die.

As Alberta has shown in this legislative session, things are better when the government isn't passing laws. So awful.

A much as I despise the man, if he came back to Alberta, and that inadvertently ended up aiding a NDP election win, I would welcome his return.
December 6, 2025 at 7:40 PM
Some Albertans. The rest of us are mad as hell and itching for an election.

She my daughter worked at a place where CLAC was the union they had a no strike clause in the contract. The union agreed to remove the worker's only real power.

When the only people that are left are UCP supporters, the destruction will be unfathomable
August 15, 2025 at 3:22 PM
I've started having the same conversation with my wife. I've lived here my whole life but the UCP are cruel and so locked into their ideology that they don't seen to comprehend just how much harm they are inflicting. But perhaps the harm is the point. Not staying past the next election if they win

Same here

We can thank Stephen Harper for this mess

I think she meant to say that Alberta doesn't have the lowest standard of living in the world yet, but she's working on it

The renewable energy moratorium will go down as one of the dumbest things the UCP have done.

And some of them are walking down the yellow line of the bike path while a pedestrian only path is a few steps away

You are probably correct. I'm tired today and didn't really think things through. Thanks

PP can stay as long as he pays the full cost with his own money. It's not legal and should only be allowed for a short time but I also think the liberals may actually gain support by pointing out how much this man has cost, and continues to cost taxpayers

I was very disappointed

We desperately need some form of proportional representation at all levels of government. People in Alberta are some of the most disengaged in the country. People give up because those repeatedly getting elected, don't represent them.

The tell is in the "if". She will do everything possible to hinder a proper investigation and prevent the truth from coming out.

And by stating this, while DS is Premier, his days in the position are numbered.
May 5, 2025 at 10:21 PM
The conservative formula for Alberta is to do a bunch of bad stuff, blame the Premier, punt the Premier, and get elected with a new Premier who promises to fix things and proceeds to make things worse. Hopefully the next election ends this sad cycle.
May 5, 2025 at 5:15 PM
And the biggest reason life is harder is the UCP. This is an ideological government that chooses to push it's agenda at the expense of ordinary Albertans. Kenney broke the province when he cheated his way into creating and leading the UCP. We were much better off with three parties.

We switched from TD last year and saved more than 50% on the annual cost. Went with AMA.
April 14, 2025 at 7:15 PM
I've lived in Alberta my entire life. There are large numbers of progressives here but after decades of politics sliding increasingly to the right, many have disengaged. Voter apathy is a huge problem. The right wing nut bars vote in droves. Many on the left have given up. Many are leaving.

It would be great if the CPC not only lost the election but that PP lost his seat. It's starting to look possible
