Changed out the top element on our hot water tank, which died last weekend. The new element is actually not brand new, but it works and is sure better than the monstrosity that came out. Yowza.

I installed the smallest (least accurate?) DeepSeek model on my homelab server and it gave me some impressively incorrect info! This is my first time experimenting with AI and I have no GPU but the speed is "usable". Too bad it's hot garbage.

Big kitten milestone day. She was so hungry from fasting before getting spayed, but still too loopy from the meds afterward to carefully eat, so she just dunked her full head into the food dish and then collapsed in the mess.

(I mean I hope it doesn’t have a zip code at all, given that “zip” is a US thing.)
