Roach is a specter haunting both of them, keeping them from moving on and finding peace in each other. Then news comes down that Roach might not be as dead as everyone thought and Soap comes face to face with the man whose shadow he’s never been able to get out of. A fic inspired by the sheer amount of angst that can be found in all of Zach Bryan’s songs.

Soap, very much an Alpha, and very much in love with his Lieutenant, offers to ride out their ruts together. But Ghost isn’t an Alpha, and Soap is about to find that out first hand.
