I would argue that economic migrants are exactly what the european economies need, people in search of a better life, willing to work hard and contribute. Ex-pats are the same but only have use of traditional routes because they are not barred on nationality. It all boils down to racism.

I disagree. I'm not sure what a "genuine" asylum seeker is but I'm certain that US, UK and EU foreign policies have created the majority of them. As for barring economic migrants does that extend to "ex-pats", surely the largest group of economic migrants in Europe?

I get that it is an anti-Trump sentiment although maybe the "No Kings" naming is a tad ironic, as of those countries, - United Kingdom, Spain, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Netherlands, Belgium, Canada and Japan actually have royal families.

I'm just relieved they didn't cave in and give it to the orange one, although disappointed they didn't give it Francesca Albanese. It's a curious choice for me given Machado's ties to far-right politicians, (Bolsanero and Trump).
