This one isn't even close. Rydia is one of the more tragic and badass characters. She has a powerful character arc and eventually becomes so strong that she single-handedly makes the big bad her bitch without breaking a sweat.

I finally defeated Ludwig the Holy Blade in the Old Hunters DLC (NG+). This thing put up a hell of a fight even at level 170. #Bloodborne

I don't really have a horse in this race. I don't remember much of Vivi or FF9, my knee-jerk answer is Rydia b/c like Yuna she uses magic too. Lulu is cool but she's just kinda there. Leaning toward Polom but, eh. Idk. No strong feelings here.

Last night I tried playing Lords of the Fallen to scratch that souls itch. It's always frustrating when games run like absolute ass. Whatever they fixed wasn't enough on my PC. I have seen UE5 stutters before but nothing like this. I get crashes in cutscenes, constant frame drops, and stuttering 🫤

This is a mix of my indecisiveness and broad utility talking. I always loved playing FF1 and having red mages because of their mix of white & black magic with melee. Once I did FF1 with 4 red mages 😁 Dragoons and summoners are a close second.
