Proximity to power comes with its own power. I don’t think anyone is taking his “advice”. I do think giving the tyrant’s son a position at the company opens a whole lot of doors for them. It’s like the royal marriages back in the day: marry the ugly prince, secure a foreign alliance.

Those involved in the fraud you’re mentioning have already been investigated and convicted. You want thousands of people to be held “accountable” because they are the same ethnicity as those criminals. Imagine if all white people were held accountable every time a white person committed crime.

Our current admin is announcing war on a major American city (Chicago), and this man is doing nothing to stop or counter that regime’s impacts to his own state. However, he should be president because he panders to Swifties? I’m losing faith in humanity by the second.

But it’s also cutting democratic voter base. The research I can find says 79% of women take their husband’s name. In that research women who identified as democrat leaning were twice as likely to say they kept their last name 20% vs 10% That’s a lot of women and our party relies on women’s votes.

How do you figure? When voter suppression is allowed republicans end up on top. Look at the heavily gerrymandered red states. This was the goal.
