About multiply, If you make multiply layer of the same color on top of base layer in most of the cases it makes the effect of saturated shadow, but in some cases it may not be dark enough, try to shift the hue of multiply layer more to the blue then.

I called it "akne" as a joke, because it looks like one, darker spot with light spot in a middle.
