my mouse back button has been double clicking for three weeks. I assumed it was broken but, I just found a fix

Reddit post that reads: "I know this is an old topic, but since I found it looking for solution, may be my advice would be helpful for someone else too. I had the same problem and you won't believe this solution, suggested here. FIX and EXPLANATION: This issue is caused by static electricity buildup inside your mouse (if the mouse isn't broken). To fix this, simply breathe into the gap between the mouse and the mouse button. Our breath has enough moisture to discharge the static electricity. This should help in removing the static electricity buildup. Generally when the environment is of low humidity or the buttons are clicked in rapid succession, static electricity tends to build up. This is a common problem in mouse since there's no other way for the static charge to be discharged. First, I though it's a joke, but I gave it a try, and it totally worked for me!"
