It wouldn't surprise me it they are experimenting with it in the background in R&D.

But the reason they aren't jumping into the AI thing is mosr likely due to copyright issues.
They want full control of their assets and theyre not sure if gen AI grants that yet.

Over the years I gradually watched it change from being accepting of these behaviors and working through them (which I believe is good) instead of shunning them.

But now ive noticed people are finding those behaviours as almost desirable or a badge of honor and being labeled as "passionate"

This is one of the reasons why I've started to disconnect almost entirely from online discussions.

It was already pretty miserable with all the marketing discourse, but now...

For a series that's consistently gotten new entries from its publisher (including remakes/remasters) despite its sales or reception, the discourse is kinda insufferable imo
