The front lock to my building is broken. No emergency, but stuck inside my apartment. My car’s right outside, on the ticketing side of the street. A cop came.
I was banging on the door. A neighbor tried to get their attention, but the cop said “I don’t speak Spanish,” gave me a ticket & drove away.
