Here I am in my 5th time reviewing @3blue1brown.bsky.social Essence of linear algebra series. Every time I rewatch it something new always clicks in my head. 😄

My analogy for each part of the Adam optimizer: (a) Momentum is like the velocity of a car that speeds up the step in the average direction while (b) RMSprop is like the lowered feature of the vehicle so it can maneuver more swiftly during turns and not be off track.
