I'm not gonna lie, the thing that usually kills my interest in a run of comics is when it suddenly intersects with a crossover event. Even when the run is instrumental in setting up / being part of the event.
It goes from a focused story into something that almost punishes you for focusing on one.

Dragon Warrior I on Gameboy Color has a surprisingly lack of jank for a version of the game from the year 2000.
Like there's some archaisms in there for sure but this game is *playable*. Has some surprising QOL like temporary saves and reviving at the King on death (instead of losing progress).

You know what I just realised?
"It feels like phones are giving everyone ADHD."
I think it's more like they're enabling it. It's a quick, easy, always available distraction in our pockets, which wasn't there before.
Doesn't mean we weren't ADHD before, it's just more obvious now. I guess?
