Sanctioning the ICC threatens the Court’s independence and undermines the international criminal justice system as a whole.
Today I met with Judge Tomoko Akane, president of the International Criminal Court.

The ICC plays an essential role in delivering justice to the victims of some of the world’s most horrific crimes.

Independence and impartiality are crucial characteristics of the Court’s work.

Today at #antiracism forum organised by @ec.europa.eu DG JUST we emphasized the importance of collecting disaggregated data in order to address discrimination and racism. So much data is already collected by companies, why is it so difficult for states to collect it and use it for better policies?
