Finally received my 17 Pro. First impressions: it feels like a toy phone after coming from a 15 Pro Max. I’m still not completely sold on the new back design, but it does feel great in the hand.

Got inspired by one of @avanderlee.com's posts a while back and started labeling my issues based on effort and impact. I also set up a project that automatically pulls in low-effort tasks from my various repos. I’ve found this really useful for surfacing tasks I can pick up when I have limited time.

At least there are fewer options now.
After having used it for a few days on my main phone, I quite like the new minimal design of Safari on iOS 26, but there has to be a better way to make things legible than the automatic switching between light and dark mode.

I don’t know if I’m completely sold on the confirmation dialogs in iOS 26. The morphing animation looks pretty nice, but the light gray button inside the white capsule does look a bit out of place.
