My husband came in last night after dinner and said he'd picked "a few more" tomatoes, because we knew it was going to frost...omg look at "a few more" and look at my tomato plants this morning, he saved the day❤️❤️

My husband and I don't have any grandchildren, we don't know any local kids, but we had grown all of these pumpkins this year, so decided to carve them and light them up just for our own amusement...there are four that are going to my stepsister's grandchildren, but only via photos on cards...

So I have piles of yellow Brandywine tomatoes from my garden, and I decided to make a nice tomato soup yesterday...garlic, onions and olive oil, simmered all day, garnished with some freshly-grated parmesan cheese...omg I was so impressed...hubby was cheering with pleasure, throwing compliments🥰🥰

When I first saw this photo I took out in my garden, I thought AI had stepped in and edited my photo, but I couldn't edit those colors away...a scientist who studies butterflies said no, this is 100% natural, an extremely rare reflection off the monarchs wings...I'm floored.
