I saw a couple of owls on my walkthrough the neighborhood last night. I think they were Eastern Screech Owls.

January was the hardest month. I attended three funerals and then we lost my mother in-law on the 31st. Hoping the rest of the year changes course.

Successfully derailed a political discussion at Thanksgiving dinner by changing the subject to the book I’m currently reading. So instead we discussed the cholera outbreak and sanitation conditions of 1850s London.

I should not be allowed in a bookstore unattended. I ordered a book that comes out next month and bought a puzzle that I absolutely could not leave without.
