I love this time of year when we look for animal tracks. I just picture them all out and about doing their thing, away from pestering humans.

House Bill 251, allowing raccoons and squirrels as pets, is a VERY misguided bill. NH Fish & Game and NH wildlife rehabbers are both against it. If you TRULY care about #raccoons and #squirrels you will oppose this bill. Wild animals are not pets #NHPolitics

Imagine being proud of killing a chipmunk? The mouth is full of seeds so she baited the poor creature to kill her. You can tell this is a female chipmunk, so babies were left behind and died. WTH is wrong with people?!

A couple of years ago a red tailed hawk hung around our yard for a couple of months and was very people friendly. We called him Gideon. I am always hopeful Gideon will show up again to say hello.

In order to be a NH Fish & Game Commissioner you need to have a hunting or trapping license. The Chair and VC of the House Fish & Game Committee are both hunters. Less than 5% of NH residents hunt but they control all the policy and laws on wildlife. How is that fair? #NHPolitics #ProtectWildlife
