Just finished Rachel Aviv’s STRANGERS TO OURSELVES, a fascinating exploration into mental illness and the function diagnoses and medication have on the human psyche. Highly recommend!

Tomorrow, a certain online mega-retailer launches a book sale, just days before Indie Bookstore Day on 4/26. This is no coincidence; Bookstore Day is one of the largest revenue drivers for indies.

Indies need our support to thrive & build community spaces for all...mega-retailers do not.

I suspect IT jobs require applicants be capable of “the look.” You know the look. The one every IT guy (or gal) in the history of IT guys (or gals) fashions when they come to your cubicle only to discover that the monitor that didn’t work moments before suddenly had a change of ❤️. 🙄

Thanks New Limestone Review for publishing my piece, Circling the Drain! I love this piece inspired by my time as a lifeguard in my teens. <3

What do we think the repercussions are if a person were to just… sleep through the whole winter? Asking for a friend.

What’s the one meal you almost always have ingredients for? For me, it’s tacos.

If a book has a prologue, do you also expect it to have an epilogue?

What would I tell my younger self? Don’t get a job right away. You have your whole life to work. And when you do pick a “career” this whole “if you love it, you’ll never work a day in your life,” ya. That’s bullshit.

Any long time Wikipedia editors out there who can contribute to the discussion as to whether this page should live or die?

Has anyone on here successfully gotten a Wikipedia page live? I’m trying to get my dad one who is a well-known AZ architect with plenty of news coverage on his work, but they keep telling me I don’t have sufficient sources. Any advice is appreciated!
