Und da ist er schon, der letzte Abend in Italien 🇮🇹 für dieses Jahr. Schön war es wieder: ⛈️ ☀️🌸🍦🍕🍝🐟🥮🚤 Gut, dass der nächste Urlaub (Irland 🇮🇪😍) bereits gebucht ist. Da lässt es sich am Montag gleich einfacher in die Arbeitswelt zurückkehren

Ending the year by making my all time favourite Italian 🍽️ - Lasagna. The ragù is just 😍😍
Tuscan pancetta, Marzemino from Puegnano del Garda and organic beef from a local farm run by a couple we met during our honeymoon in 2021 at the same winery the Marzemino is from.

Our plans to going home for 🎄 by train are sadly scrapped thanks to storm Zoltan 💨 why can’t things just go normal for once. We’re Chris Rea’ing instead.

This is the best result (visually) I have ever achieved in my bread baking attempts.
It will be our breakfast treat after we finally shovelled our car free and brought it back home ❤️

It’s been snowing non stop and there’s no end in sight. Deeply conflicted between my love of snow and the non-ability to reach our house by car right now. It’s parked around the village, waiting for the snow plough to cheese the road to get some errands done at least. ❄️

Today’s plan.. listening to Christmas FM (obsessed with it, not sorry!), making ice cream and start preparing today’s dinner of Rouladen. Also enjoying some lovely coffee today (Las Nubes Geisha roasted by elbgold). It’s so good it almost made me cry.

About yesterday… meet Heavysaurus.. The dinosaur heavy metal band for children. This was actually awesome. Loved the kids’ pit in front of the stage!
