We found a clear positive correlation between energy reserves and calcification rate of Desmophyllum dianthus!

We successfully finished our multiple stressor experiment with cold-water corals at the St Abbs marine station and the University of Edinburgh last week after one year 🥳🎉 A huge thank you to everyone who helped with this experiment! 😀

I really enjoyed presenting the preliminary findings of our long-term multiple stressor experiment with the cold-water coral Desmophyllum pertusum and discussing all things marine and coral at the MASTS and RCUK conferences last week! 😀
