The skylight overhead casts a matrix of shadows across the atrium. The mezzanine, with its glass railing, invite our gaze skywards, with an unobstructed view. A path with gardens filled with foliage on either side of it, completes the frame.

The stunning architectural feature of Ottawa's National Gallery is the Great Hall. Encased in glass windows that plunge from floor to ceiling and provide spectacular views of Parliament Hill. Inside, several clear acrylic bistro tables and chairs for the floor space. A couple sitting to the far right are enjoying the beautiful views. Shadows of the windows reflect onto the floor. It is a beautiful summer day, with surrounding trees in full foliage.
