Absolutely. It’s like an odd mixture of GenX culture with Millennial tech … and, for me, a lot of Millennial music. Idk, it’s hard to explain. Because I def had the feral, latchkey kid thing too.

Idk what this is in reference to but …
I was so glad when I found other “xennials” because it always felt weird that I had one foot firmly in GenX and the other firmly in Millennial … it was so nice to find out I wasn’t some random singular anomaly.

“gentleman’s agreements” are just monopolies by a nicer name. Lack of choice is a scourge & we have it here with cable/internet, water, power, gas, etc. No competition causes complacency & higher prices.

I haven’t had any cable since 2019. I do have too many subs tho. Still, my internet provider is Spectrum so I’m still kinda funding them but, alas, we have zero choice in my city. It’s Spectrum or nothing.
