Despite its name, the Cotton Pygmy-Goose is a duck.
In Sri Lanka, it's more accurately named "Mal Saar" ("Flower Teal") as it prefers wetlands with floating or shallow vegetation. Weighing as little as 185g, the Mal Saar holds the world record for the smallest waterfowl by weight!
