ted eagerly tracks her flight. he parks in the short term lot and waits outside the no re-entry doors, a small bouquet in hand. she doesn’t mind when he slips his hand over hers to steal her wheelie luggage as he kisses her. after all, it means she gets to hold his free hand as they walk to the car.

ted claims it’s their first gala even though they’ve been to five of these now. when she raises her brow to question him, he holds up his hand and wiggles his ring finger and she playfully rolls her eyes. on the carpet, she takes his arm, pointedly curling her left hand around him before grinning.
