12/ The image of McMorrow on her third standing ovation, humbly before her constituents, is burned into my mind. She wasn’t claiming to have all the answers—only showing that if we start small, dig deep, and keep going together, we can build a better path forward.

1/ It was a bright, sunny 40º day— what we call balmy in the Midwest—as I stood in line with 9,000 others outside a high school in Warren, Michigan, for Bernie Sanders’ “Fight the Oligarchy” rally.
