I hope if you're an author selling direct, you'll ask them the same question. We do have other options. If my business is unworthy of support, then Shopify does not deserve to profit from it.

Before today, I've always been very happy with Shopify support. Today was very different. The rep was unable to answer this question, and could not forward me to anyone who could.
