My younger brothers just informed me that the quetzalcoatlus can't be my favorite dinosaur, since it's not actually a dinosaur; it's a pterosaur. Fine then. My new favorite dinosaur is the Andean cock-of-the-rock, for self-evident reasons. Good pick, Peru.

Anyway, all this is to say that I went with the racist option for my solo rpg game villagers and feel pretty guilty about it. The fantasy clothes though 🥺

There used to be a fairly robust fan website where you could design avatars like the one below, which had a very extensive collection of items that were probably very expensive to purchase with IRL money in-game. Can't tell if it still exists or not because I've totally blanked on its name.

Despite no effort otherwise on my part, this is slowly becoming a doll account. See, I have lots of interests, it's just that most of them involve American Girl dolls somehow.

Today's interest was learning a few basic photo editing techniques.

Update on the American Girl doll beard painting technique. Tried it and it produces the appearance of a short, patchy beard and has the benefit of being completely reversible with acetone. Downside is it looks downright awful with fuller beard patterns (right image).

Made my husband @josephroso.bsky.social into an American Girl doll. Here are the pics for the concept and reality.

I know these dolls are supposed to be 8-10yos, but he looks a little strange without his beard. Debating whether to paint that on or glue tiny wefts. Thoughts?
