it’s something that happens frequently enough that my doctors specifically warned me that the letters probably would not make any difference, and my therapists had to advise me to just wait a few months then try to resubmit for a few more visits.

the fun thing about this is it effectively means my case was being treated by insurance reps as the same as someone who, for example, broke their wrist. this is despite my therapists calling them to plead my case + multiple surgeons/doctors sending letters of necessity.
