Idk it’s just so strange to read! You only really learn about Spielberg through the lense of film, where he’s regarded as a god. Now I’m reading a book about him being immature, vindictive and jealous of John Landis of all people.

The author admits he can’t corroborate this, but there’s a rumor Spielberg tried to get Dee Wallace fired after having a conflict with her on E.T. His own mother is quoted in this book acknowledging his immature, vindictive side.

I was mostly able to follow! I didn’t think it was great but it’s not a bad movie. My biggest takeaway is that it’s lacking an emotional beat that Disney movies usually have and feels more plot driven instead.

I loved storyboarding, but as the years have gone by, the job has become very different and not really what I want to do anymore. I still need to work (I'm so unemployed) but I also have to be honest with myself about what I really want.
