My passport expired so made an appt at the post office for a new one. I'm there a lot & have never seen anyone getting their passport before. But today the lobby was completely full of just people getting passports. It was swarmed.

When the Nazis first came to power, within a few months, they raided the Institute for Sexuality which did the first studies of trans people.

The books they seized were burned here, including a copy of Heinrich Heines poem that said, "where they burn books, they will ultimately burn people too."
