Working in global health, I've learned much about tuberculosis. Reading this book made all the technical parts - and the human parts - so much clearer. John Green has written such a compelling book that will truly change your perspective on a too often overlooked disease. everythingistb.com

Nice to see another paper from the @jonmcgavock.bsky.social lab on urban cycling. This study looked at if cycling-specific active transportation was sensitive to The Fresh Start Effect, with people being more likely to cycle to work at the start of the week. ijbnpa.biomedcentral.com/articles/10....

Preventing DKA is a big focus of the Bruce Perkins lab @sinaihealth.bsky.social. This new study aimed to determine if routine ketone testing on well days predicts future DKA in people living with #T1D who are using sodium–glucose cotransporter inhibitors (SGLTi).
