I don't know if they host events, but Gulf of Maine Books in Brunswick is great. And if you make it to Lewiston, check out the Maine MILL (Museum of Innovation, Labor, & Learning).

Going to school and using AI to do your assignments is like going to a gym and getting a robot to do your workouts--it doesn't help you and it wastes other people's time and resources.
