The biggest lie in life we tell ourselves is that we must identify with our bodies and if we do not we are not fulfilled. This is a distraction from us being who we are.

Nurses saved the life of someone close to me ten years ago.
The astounding thing is, were I to go and tell them how grateful I am, they'd have no idea who I was, because THEY SAVE LIVES ALL THE TIME.
A moment seared in my memory forever; an ordinary day to them.
Saving lives is their routine.

My gratitude for nurses started when I was a kid in and out of the hospital. Nurses are the ones who put the care in healthcare.
For Nurses Appreciation Week, I’m thanking the nurses in my life - and committing to help get them better wages and safer working conditions.
