Jimmy Garvin might as well have had a big sign over his head saying 'THIS GUY JUST DID A LINE'

This guy shows up as the new commissioner like six weeks before Global dies. I guess we know who to blame.

They really should have done more segments interviewing and talking to fans back in the good old days when they would hope for the wrestlers to die.

We'll finish this thread off with the OFFICIAL RATINGS. Nice to see the revolving door of late 90s Dallas promotions is included as I wasn't even aware there was a Dallas 'Continental Wrestling Federation' during this era.

Definitely a magazine geared towards the 'horny pervert' demographic of wrestling fan based on both the advertisements and the pictures used. Mid-1996 magazine ads for Magnificent Mimi seems kind of late for someone whose biggest exposure was in the AWA.

Today's wrestling magazine thread of the day is October 1996 issue of Wrestling All Stars. This is definitely NOT in the Apter/Weston family of magazines as you'll see by the 'LESBO LOVE!' blurb prominently featured on the cover.
