Good luck with that. Most of Congress is on board with what's happening in this country right now.

Unfortunately, the answer to both of those questions would probably be yes. It's handed down in these families from generation to generation. Kinda like an heirloom, but it's hate instead.

The truly sad part is that Fox News is the channel of choice with the military. I've been around the military all of my life, in one capacity or another, and it almost never fails that the TV is tuned to Fox News, no matter which military building you're in.

They know. They just didn't care until someone told them to. The mental gymnastics has got to be exhausting, but they keep doing it to fit whatever narrative they're told to follow. Unfortunately, they're (we're) going to have to go through the shit before it all sinks in with them.

Unfortunately, it's sad but true. I'm old enough to remember when both parties had members that were considered more conservative or liberal. But we've swung so far right that the middle of the road is now considered left. And, the amount of verbal blow jobs at every cabinet meeting is embarrassing.

Because uneducated people are much easier to control. It baffles my mind that so many think he's great when he just makes a word salad every time he opens his mouth.

Kinda like how Hitler was "democratically" elected...

It's because it's finally going to affect them. If it only affects people not like them (trans, black, immigrant, etc.), they'd still support him. I live in a very conservative rural area, and they are clueless on how the real world works because many of them have never left the area.
