Seat of Sacrifice was maybe the biggest and best way they could have celebrated not just the XIV story but the legacy of the franchise up until that point. I don't know if any online game will have an update that matches the high points it had for me.

This is such a huge part of why I haven't really wanted to go back. I made a lot of friends in 2019 and 2020 when I started playing again because I'd see familiar names all over and they'd recognize me too, and we'd chat. Outside of people doing RP I never saw chatting in any hubs or in the zones.
