I don’t grieve celebrity deaths, but David Lynch wasn’t a celebrity. He was an artist. Bringing proper mindfuck weirdness into the mainstream. Immaculate aesthetic, kind heart and work resonating with those out of sync with “normal.”

I've got to hand it to them, Pearl Jam really does put on a fantastic show. There's something to be said for opening with "Better Man". Seriously, having 50,000 people singing along to a song that you wrote in high school music be quite a trip!

When the frost is still this heavy at the end of a two hour run and the puddles are still covered with ice, you can be sure that we have truly entered winter.
